昨夜、ある経営者の方に1通のメールを送りました。
短い数行の文章。書き始めてから送信ボタン押すまで、1時間半。
別な表現(言い回し)はないか、蛇足な部分はないか、逆に足りないものはないか、読み直して、悩んで悩んで…1時間半。
…早速、今朝返信を頂き、その文面には、「これ書くのにとても悩みながら書いたでしょう」と書いてあり、私のことを思ってくださる内容で、胸が熱くなりました。
こんなリーダーは素敵だと思いました。

…I promptly received a reply this morning, which read.
It said, “You must have had a lot of trouble writing this.
I was touched by his thoughtfulness for me.
I thought such a leader was wonderful.
