今回も、過去にFacebookに投稿したものを加筆して紹介します。

「お父さん、このお店始めてどのくらい？」

今夜は仕事で、大分から移動して中津泊まり。

晩ご飯で入ったラーメン屋の寡黙な店主さんにふと話しかけてみました。

すると、、、

…しゃべる。めちゃめちゃしゃべる（笑）

経営論、語る、語る。

苦難、語る、語る。

人に歴史あり、である。

勉強になりました。

さすが、福沢諭吉が生まれた町、『学問のすゝめ』の町。

吉川英治さんが書かれた小説『宮本武蔵』の中で、「我以外皆我師」という言葉が出てきます。これは、吉川氏の造語で、「自分以外の、人でも物でも皆、自分に何かを教えてくれる先生だ」という意味です。

これは人生を生きていくうえで大切な考え方かもしれません。

一期一会を大切にして、相手に対して敬意を払って、謙虚に学ぶ姿勢で話を聞くことはとても大切なことだなと思うのでした。

Hello! This is Sarutanuki.

This time, I’d like to introduce another addition to my past Facebook post.

“Dad, how long have you been running this shop?”

Tonight, I had to work, so I moved from Oita and stayed in Nakatsu.

Tonight, I was traveling from Oita to Nakatsu for work.

And…

…he talked. He talked a lot (laughs).

He talked and talked about management theory.

He talked and talked about hardships.

People have history.

I learned a lot.

As expected of a town where Yukichi Fukuzawa was born and where “Encouragement of Learning” was written.

In the novel “Musashi Miyamoto” written by Eiji Yoshikawa, the phrase “Everyone is my teacher except me” is mentioned. This phrase, coined by Mr. Yoshikawa, means that everyone, whether a person or a thing, is a teacher who can teach you something.

This may be an important way to think about life.

I think it is very important to value each meeting, to pay respect to others, and to listen with an attitude of humility and learning.

昨日、大学の友人の女性が、母子ともに健康な出産を終えたと報告がありました。

おめでとう！

生まれてきてくれた赤ちゃんへ

Welcome ようこそ日本へ！

君が今ここにいること

とびきりの運命に心からありがとう！

あなたが選んだママはスゴイんだから！

だから安心して成長してね！

と、Facebookに書き残していました。

SMAPのこの歌「Dear WOMAN」、テレビCMでも当時よく流れていました。

皆さんもよく耳にしたかなと思います。

この歌詞、タイトルが「Dear WOMAN」ですから、女性に向けられた歌なんですけど、なんか赤ちゃんに対してピッタリだなと思ったんです。

赤ちゃんに「ようこそ！」という気持ちがあるっていいなと思ったんです。

「ようこそ、私たちを選んで生まれてきてくれてありがとう！」って気持ちですよね。

まさに、「とびきりの運命」ですよね。

これ以上の運命はないと思うんですよ。

だからこそ、小さな命は大切にしたいですよね。

This song by SMAP, “Dear WOMAN,” was often played on TV commercials at the time.

I’m sure you have heard it often.

The title of the song is “Dear WOMAN,” so it is a song for women, but I thought it was perfect for babies.

I thought it was nice to be able to say, “Welcome to the world! I thought it was nice to have the feeling of “Welcome!

It’s like, “Welcome, and thank you for choosing us to be born! That’s the feeling.

【教訓】笑う(笑顔)はタダだが役に立つ( Laughing is free, but useful)

こんにちは！さるたぬきです。

今年2021年の正月に、テレビドラマの『逃げるは恥だが役に立つ』、略称『逃げ恥』の続編としてスペシャルドラマを放送していました。

『逃げ恥』は、2016年にブームになっていました。

で、当時、私は、Facebookにこんなことを書いていました。

【笑う(笑顔)はタダだが役に立つ】

我ながらセンスあるなぁと今振り返って思いました（ダサいですかｗ）

これを書いている時、私は風邪を引いていたようで、39度8分の熱を出して寝込んでいました。

で、「【教訓】笑う(笑顔)はタダだが役に立つ」

と書いていました。なぜ教訓なのか詳しくいきさつはその投稿記事には書いていませんでした。そして、なぜそんなことを書いたのか記憶にございません(笑)

まぁ、多分、面白いことがあって、爆笑していたら、免疫力向上して、治ったのでしょう。

書いた時期も、正月みたいですし、テレビのネタ番組でも観て笑っていたのでしょう。

このコロナ禍の今日、何かと鬱憤が溜まってしまいがちですが、小さいことでもいいから笑えることを探したり、逆に面白くなくても笑い飛ばしたりするぐらいの気持ちが必要なのかもしれませんね。

お金はかかりません。未来を見据えて、今を笑って明るく努めていきたいものです。

Hello! This is Sarutanuki.

This New Year’s Day 2021, a special drama was aired as a sequel to the TV drama “Run away is shameful but useful”, or “Run away shame” for short.

It’s been a long time since I’ve watched it.

And at the time, I wrote the following on Facebook.

Laughing (smiling) is free, but useful.

Looking back now, I think I have good sense.

At the time I was writing this, I had caught a cold and was in bed with a fever of 39.8 degrees Celsius.

So, I wrote, “[Lesson] Laughing (smiling) is free, but useful.

I wrote. I didn’t write the details of why it was a lesson in that post. And I don’t remember why I wrote that (laughs).

Well, maybe something funny happened and I was laughing so much that my immune system improved and I was cured.

The time I wrote this was like New Year’s, so I must have been laughing at a TV show.

In these days of the corona disaster, it is easy to get depressed, but maybe we need to find something to laugh at, even if it is something small, or even if it is not funny, we need to laugh it off.

It doesn’t cost any money. It doesn’t cost money, but we should try to smile and be cheerful in the present with an eye on the future.

2021年2月25日（木）放送の『カンブリア宮殿』を観ました。

「町田商店」というラーメン屋さんが紹介されていて、担当者の方のインタビューの話が良いなと思いましたのでブログに書き残したいと思います。

町田商店は、このコロナ禍の中において、繁盛しているとのことです。

で、インタビューに答えていた担当の田中さんがこんなことをお話しておられました。

「『この時期でも来てくれてありがとうございます』という気持ちで営業している」

で、実践しているのがお客様への「声掛け」です。

コロナ禍以前より、意識して感謝を伝える声掛けをしていました。

「寒い中ご来店ありがとうございます」「天気の悪い中ご来店ありがとうございました」など、ひとりひとりにお声掛けしていました。その風景の映像も紹介されていました。

マスクして表情は見せられないけれど、状況が状況なので長話はできないけれど、感謝の気持ちを伝える一瞬を大事にしていることに感動しました。

今できることに最善を努める姿。とても参考になりました。飲食業界の人間ではありませんが、「負けていられない」と、勝手に闘志を燃やすのでした。。。

本日、仕事納めでございました。

今年、何かと車で移動する機会が公私で増えました。

今年、九州内を移動するだけで地球一周していることに気づきました（笑）

なので、安全には注意を払っております。

しかし、それだけでは何なので、今年は…

マメに神社参拝しました。

住まいの近所の小さな神社(出勤前)から、出張先の近辺にある神社まで様々。

神様に安全に移動、帰宅できたことを日々「お礼」してきました。

私は神様を見たことは、ナメック星人が漫画の世界でやっていたのを見たくらいで、現実では見たことはありません。

でも、その見えない八百万の方々に感謝してきました。

今朝も、昨夜熊本から無事に帰ってこられたのでお礼を。

年末帰省致しますが、近所の小さな神社にお礼に行きます。

I’d like to share with you another article I posted on Facebook in the past.

I’m not sure if this is a good idea.

Today was the last day of work.

This year, I’ve had more opportunities to travel by car, both publicly and privately.

This year, I realized that I’ve circled the globe just moving around Kyushu (laughs).

So, I pay attention to safety.

However, that’s not enough, so this year…

I visited a shrine in my neighborhood.

I went to various shrines, from a small shrine near where I live (before going to work) to a shrine near my business trip.

I have been “thanking” the gods every day for my safe travel and return home.

I have never seen God in real life, only what I have seen Namek aliens do in the world of manga.

However, I have been grateful to those invisible eight million people.

This morning, I also thanked them for bringing me back safely from Kumamoto last night.

I will return home at the end of the year, and I will go to a small shrine in my neighborhood to thank them.

六次の隔たり（Six Degrees of Separation）

こんにちは！さるたぬきです。

今日は5年前にFacebookに投稿した記事を一部修正して紹介します。

丁度、前回のアメリカ大統領選挙が終わって、トランプ前大統領が勝利した後のニュースについて書いていました。

当時、ソフトバンクの孫さんが直ぐにトランプさんに会いに行っていました。そのことがネットニュースの記事で取り上げられていました。

私は孫さんのそのスピード感に驚いて書いていました。

以下がその記事です。

…お二人の会談についての感想は控えますが、

記事を読んで、昔教わった『六次の隔たり』を思い出しました。

「六次の隔たり」とは？

ざっくり言うと、

【6人介せば、どんな相手でも会いたい人に会える】ってことらしい。

共通の知人を介して、と記事にありました。

どんな共通の知人なんだろう(笑)

人は大事にしておくことは大切だと思う。

どんな出会い、縁が、いつ、何時、自分の人生を助けてくれたり、ターニングポイントになったりするか分からない。

まあ、逆の出会いもあるのだけど。。。

…とは言え、まだ、選挙結果から1ヶ月経っておりませぬ。

孫さんのこのスピード感に、色々考えさせられる。

いくら人脈があるとは言え、決断と行動力が伴わなければ、人脈は宝の持ち腐れだ。

この辺りは、事業家は皆見習うべきポイントだと思う。

…そう言えば今年、大きな出来事がイギリスで起こった後、孫さんイギリスに行ってたなぁ。これも早かった。

とにかく彼の行動は早い。弟の孫泰蔵さんが、「兄は石橋を叩いても渡らないくらいめちゃくちゃ慎重だが、決断したらめちゃくちゃ早い」みたいなことを言っていたのを何かの記事で読んだことがあるが、それにしても早い。

「早い」しか書いてない(笑)

とりあえず、善は急げ、ですな。急いだほうが、たとえその選択がミスだったとしても、時間に余裕があるから軌道修正する時間も残ってるからな。

私は少年ジャンプで連載中の『ONE PIECE』が好きです。

現在、「ワノ国」編が佳境を迎えています。

ワノ国編のストーリーの軸とも言えるキャラクター、光月おでんにスポットを当ててブログを書いてみようと思いました。

なぜスポットを当ててみようかと思ったのは、こんな切り口でおでんについて書いてみたいなと思ったからです。

それは、、、チョコレートの「GODIVA」との共通点です。

GODIVAと共通点？と思われるかもしれませんが、私は、これは似ているなと思ったのです。

まず、おでんですが、漫画のストーリーを細かく紹介するとネタバレになり、たまたまこれを目にした人がまだ漫画を読んでなくて目にしたら申し訳ないのでかいつまんで書きますが、

おでんは、ワノ国の将軍の正統な後継者でした。

色々あって、悪い奴らに乗っ取られました。

その悪い奴らは領民の生活を苦しめていました。

そして、ここからが今回の話の大事な所ですが、おでんはその領民を救うために、悪い奴らの提案を飲み、定期的に市中で裸踊りを続けました。

領民からは馬鹿にされっぱなしでしたが、理由は領民に黙ってやり続けました。

領民を守るために裸踊りをやっておりました。

次に、GODIVAの話に移ります。

GODIVAのブランド名の由来を知っていますか？

11世紀、イギリスに「レディ・ゴディバ」という女性がいました。

彼女は、コベントリーという町の領主レオフリック伯爵の夫人でした。

レオフリックは領民に苦しい課税を強いていました。

課税に苦しむ領民を見ぬふりできないゴディバは、レオフリック伯爵に減税を訴えました。

何度も訴えましたが、聞き入れないレオフリック伯爵は、「裸で馬に乗り、町中を回れたら税を下げる」と提案しました。

ゴディバはその提案を飲み、実行したのです。

そう、おでんとゴディバは、苦しむ領民の為に、裸で町中を回っているのです。

まあ、おでんは架空のキャラクターですけど、ゴディバは実際にあった話です。

驚きますね。この話に感銘を受けたGODIVAの創始者ジョセフ・ドラップスは、ブランド名をGODIVAにしたそうです。

民の為なら自身の恥はかき捨てる覚悟。

付いていきたくなるリーダーシップですね。

おでんの場合は、裸で踊る理由を領民に明かさないところが良いですよね。

領民が理由を知ったら、「自分たちのためにやっていたのか」と領民たちを逆に苦しめてしまいます。

「相手にどう思われるかより、相手にどうなってもらいたいか」

リーダーシップの根幹かなと思いました。

まぁ、アンデルセン童話の「裸の王様」になっちゃいけないけどね。。。

Hello! This is Sarutanuki.

I like “One Piece”, which is being serialized in Shonen Jump.

Currently, the “Wano-kuni” Arc is reaching its climax.

I thought I’d write a blog focusing on “Oden Kouzuki,” a character who is the axis of the story in the Wanokuni Arc.

The reason why I wanted to focus on him was because I wanted to write about Oden from this angle.

The reason why I wanted to spotlight Oden is because I wanted to write about Oden from this angle: it has something in common with the chocolate company GODIVA.

What does GODIVA have in common with Oden? But I thought it was similar.

First of all, Oden. If I were to introduce the story of the manga in detail, it would be a spoiler, and I’m sorry if anyone who happens to see this hasn’t read the manga yet and sees it, so I’ll just recap.

Oden was the rightful heir to the Shogun of Wano-kuni.

The bad guys were making life difficult for the people.

In order to save his people, Oden accepted the bad guys’ proposal and continued to dance naked in the streets on a regular basis.

Next, let’s move on to the story of GODIVA.

Do you know the origin of the GODIVA brand name?

In the 11th century, there was a woman named “Lady Godiva” in England.

She was the wife of the Earl of Leofric, the lord of a town called Coventry.

Leofric was forcing his people to pay a painful tax.

Godiva, who could not turn a blind eye to the people suffering from taxation, appealed to Count Leofric to reduce taxes.

After repeated appeals, Count Leofric refused to listen to her and suggested that he would lower the tax if she could ride around the town naked on a horse.

Godiva swallowed the proposal and did it.

Yes, Oden and Godiva went around the town naked for the sake of the suffering people.

Well, Oden is a fictional character, but Godiva is a real story.

Amazing, isn’t it? Joseph Drapes, the founder of GODIVA, was so impressed by this story that he decided to name his brand GODIVA.

He is ready to throw away his own shame for the sake of the people.

That’s the kind of leadership I want to follow.

In the case of Oden, I like the fact that he does not reveal the reason for dancing naked to his people.

If the people knew why he was doing it, they would wonder if he was doing it for them, which would make them suffer.

“It’s not what they think of you, but what you want them to think of you.

I thought that was the root of leadership.

人生を無理なく幸せにする基礎固めかなと思います。

そのことに対して喜んで貰えるように

今できることをする。

ただ、それだけのこと。

そう、それだけのこと。

以上です。

シンプルでしょ。

無理せずできることをやる。

調べたら、仏教にも同じような考え方のやつありました。

「無財の七施」。

お金や物がなくても他人にできる７つを教えていました。

念のため、その7つを紹介しますね。

1.眼施（げんせ）やさしい眼差（まなざ）しで人に接する

2.和顔悦色施（わげんえつじきせ）にこやかな顔で接する

3.言辞施（ごんじせ）やさしい言葉で接する

4.身施（しんせ）自分の身体でできることを奉仕する

5.心施（しんせ）他のために心をくばる

6.床座施（しょうざせ）席や場所を譲る

7.房舎施（ぼうじゃせ）自分の家を提供する

Simple, isn’t it?

Do what you can do without straining yourself.

When I looked it up, I found a similar concept in Buddhism.

It’s called “Seven Treatments for No Wealth.

It teaches seven things that you can do for others without having money or things.

Just in case you’re wondering, here are the seven.

Treat others with kind eyes.

2. Wagenetsujiki-se: Treat people with a smiling face.

Treat people with kind words.

Do what you can with your body.

Mindfulness for the sake of others

Giving up one’s seat or place

Offering one’s own home (boja-se)

私が子どもの頃の話です。

家族でカラオケに行くと、大トリは、必ず、必ず、父がサブちゃんの『帰ろかな』を歌っていました。

父は鮭茶漬けが、もとい、サブちゃんこと北島三郎さんが大好きでした。

そう思える場所であったり、時間であったり、人であったり…

そんな風に感じてもらえる存在っていうか、生き方っていうか、いいなぁ。。。

長崎蛇踊りの「もってこ〜い！」的な。

もう父が亡くなって数年経ちます。

父の葬儀の時、BGMで『帰ろかな』を流しました。

父に帰ってきてほしかったのかもしれません。
